Overview

The examinations are conducted by the Examination Committee, Rajkiya Engineering College, Gonda. The evaluation process of the students is based on continuous assessment and evaluation, which includes sessional and end semester exams. Students must maintain at least 75% attendance to be eligible to appear for the exams.

Sessional & End Semester Evaluation

The sessional component (30 marks) for theory subjects comprises:

• Two class tests, each of 10/15 marks
• 10/20 marks for performance based on assignments, quizzes, attendance, etc.

The end semester exam carries 70/100 marks. The distribution of marks is as prescribed in the scheme by AKTU, Lucknow for theory, practicals, seminars, projects, and training.

Examination Conduct and Unfair Means (UFM)

• Minor Offenses: Not following invigilator instructions or communicating with others may result in warnings or zero in the paper.
• Major Offenses: Possession of unauthorized material or using gadgets may lead to result cancellation and penalties.
• Severe Offenses: Impersonation, bribery, or answer book exchange may result in cancellation of multiple papers and disciplinary actions.

Examination Guidelines

• Dress Code: Students must wear formal attire.
• Prohibited Items: Electronic gadgets (except non-programmable calculators) are not allowed.
• Conduct: Students must follow decorum and examination rules strictly.
